Restaurant Hostess

Description

Responsibilities:

Greet guests as they arrive at the restaurant and escort them to their tables.
Manage reservations and seating arrangements to optimize table turnover and guest satisfaction.
Provide menus to guests and assist with any inquiries about menu items or specials.
Maintain a clean and organized hostess station and lobby area.
Communicate with servers and kitchen staff to coordinate seating and ensure timely service.
Monitor dining room activity and assist with crowd control during busy periods.
Assist with special events, private parties, and other functions as needed.
Handle guest inquiries, complaints, and requests in a polite and professional manner.
Thank guests for their patronage and invite them to return for future visits.
Collaborate with restaurant management to implement policies and procedures for guest service and satisfaction.

Requirements:

High school diploma or equivalent.
Previous experience as a Hostess or in a customer service role preferred.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
Professional appearance and demeanor.
Ability to work well under pressure and in a fast-paced environment.
Strong organizational and multitasking abilities.
Flexibility to work evenings, weekends, and holidays as needed.
