Job Title: Storekeeper

Job Overview:
We are currently seeking a detail-oriented and organized individual to join our team as a Storekeeper. The Storekeeper will be responsible for overseeing the receipt, storage, and distribution of materials and supplies, ensuring accuracy and efficiency in inventory management.

Responsibilities:
Receive, inspect, and record incoming materials and supplies.
Organize and maintain inventory levels, ensuring adequate stock availability.
Properly label and store items in designated storage areas, maintaining cleanliness and orderliness.
Prepare and pack materials for outgoing shipments, ensuring accuracy in quantity and documentation.
Conduct regular inventory counts and reconcile discrepancies as needed.
Monitor inventory levels and place orders for replenishment in a timely manner.
Coordinate with suppliers and vendors for delivery schedules and inquiries.
Follow proper handling and storage procedures for hazardous materials, if applicable.
Maintain accurate records of transactions and inventory movements using computerized systems.
Comply with health and safety regulations and company policies.

Requirements:
High school diploma or equivalent.
Proven experience as a storekeeper or in a similar role.
Strong organizational and multitasking skills.
Attention to detail and accuracy in inventory management.
Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities.
Proficiency in computerized inventory management systems.
Physical stamina and the ability to lift and move heavy items.
Knowledge of basic safety and handling procedures for materials and equipment.
