Accountant

Description

Responsibilities:

Manage all accounting transactions, including accounts payable, accounts receivable, and general ledger entries.
Prepare and maintain accurate financial records and reports, including balance sheets, profit and loss statements, and cash flow statements.
Reconcile bank statements and ensure accuracy of financial data.
Assist with budgeting, forecasting, and financial analysis.
Prepare and file VAT returns and ensure compliance with tax regulations.
Assist with the month-end and year-end close process.
Prepare and analyze financial reports to provide insights and recommendations to management.
Monitor and analyze financial performance against budget and forecast.
Assist with internal and external audits as needed.
Stay updated on accounting standards, regulations, and best practices.

Requirements:

Bachelor’s degree in accounting, finance, or a related field.
Proven experience as an accountant or in a similar role.
Strong understanding of accounting principles and practices.
Proficiency in accounting software and Microsoft Office Suite.
Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
Attention to detail and accuracy in data entry and financial reporting.
Ability to work well independently and as part of a team.
UAE residency or work permit.
