Travel and Tourism Sales Assistant

As a Travel and Tourism Sales Assistant, your primary responsibility is to assist customers with their travel plans and to sell travel products and services. Your duties may include:

Customer Service: You will be responsible for assisting customers in person, over the phone, or via email. You will need to answer their queries, provide information on travel packages, and help them make bookings.

Sales: You will need to sell travel products and services such as flights, hotels, car rentals, tours, travel insurance, and other related items. You will also need to meet sales targets set by your employer.

Reservation and Booking: You will be responsible for making reservations and bookings for customers. This includes confirming flight tickets, hotel rooms, and other travel-related services.

Administration: You will be required to maintain records of all bookings and payments, prepare invoices, and follow up with customers as required.

Marketing: You will be required to promote travel products and services to potential customers through various marketing activities such as social media, email marketing, and other promotional activities.

Customer Relationship Management: You will be required to build and maintain long-term relationships with customers by providing excellent customer service, ensuring customer satisfaction, and dealing with complaints and issues as required.
