We are seeking a knowledgeable and customer-oriented Travel Agent to join our team. The Travel Agent will play a vital role in assisting clients with their travel plans, including booking flights, accommodations, and transportation, and providing expert advice on destinations and travel options. Research and book flights, accommodations, transportation, and other travel services.
Provide information on visa requirements, travel insurance, and health precautions.
Advise clients on travel destinations, activities, and attractions.
Handle travel-related inquiries, such as flight schedules, baggage policies, and travel restrictions.
Assist clients in making changes to their travel plans, including rebooking flights and modifying reservations.
Process payments and invoices for travel bookings.
Stay updated on travel trends, airline policies, and industry news.
Resolve any issues or complaints related to travel bookings.
Collaborate with travel suppliers, including airlines, hotels, and tour operators, to secure the best deals and packages.
Maintain accurate and organized records of client interactions and bookings.
Promote and sell travel-related products and services, such as travel insurance and tour packages.
Ensure compliance with all travel regulations and requirements.
High school diploma or equivalent. A degree in Hospitality, Tourism, or a related field is a plus.
Previous experience as a Travel Agent or in a similar customer service role is desirable but not required.
Strong knowledge of travel destinations, itineraries, and travel-related products.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
Sales and negotiation abilities.
