Teaching Assistant

Description

We are seeking a caring, reliable and enthusiastic Teaching Assistant to support teachers in delivering effective classroom instruction and maintaining a positive learning environment. The Teaching Assistant will assist students with their learning, classroom activities and daily routines while working closely with the class teacher and academic team.

Key Responsibilities
Assist the class teacher with daily classroom activities and lesson preparation.
Support students individually or in small groups as directed by the teacher.
Help students understand and complete classroom tasks and assignments.
Prepare and organize teaching materials, worksheets, displays and learning resources.
Support classroom management and maintain a safe, clean and positive learning environment.
Assist with student activities, projects, practical work and educational programs.
Monitor student participation, behavior and general progress and report observations to the teacher.
Provide additional support to students who require assistance with learning or classroom activities.
Encourage students to develop confidence, independence and positive learning habits.
Assist students during transitions, break times, lunch periods and school activities when required.
Support teachers with attendance, classroom records and basic administrative tasks.
Assist with examinations, assessments, school events and extracurricular activities.
Communicate professionally with teachers, students and other school staff.
Maintain confidentiality of student and school information.
Follow school policies relating to safeguarding, child protection, health and safety and student welfare.
Attend staff meetings, training sessions and professional development activities.
Perform other duties assigned by the class teacher or school management.
