Job Description:
We are seeking a dedicated and organized Storekeeper to join our team. As a Storekeeper, you will play a vital role in maintaining accurate inventory records, ensuring product availability, and contributing to the efficient operation of our supermarket. Responsibilities:
Receive, inspect, and verify incoming merchandise and supplies.
Organize and maintain the storage areas to maximize space and accessibility.
Label and properly store items according to their category, type, and expiration date.
Monitor inventory levels and reorder products as needed to prevent stockouts.
Conduct regular stock counts and reconcile inventory records.
Maintain accurate records of inventory transactions and adjustments.
Prepare and package products for display and sale on the supermarket floor.
Ensure that products are stored in compliance with health and safety regulations.
Collaborate with the purchasing department to track and manage orders.
Assist in conducting regular inventory audits and reporting discrepancies.
Keep the storekeeping area clean and organized.

Qualifications:
Previous experience as a Storekeeper or in inventory management is preferred.
Strong organizational and time management skills.
Attention to detail and accuracy in record-keeping.
Ability to operate inventory management software and basic computer applications.
Physical stamina and the ability to lift and move heavy objects.
Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
Knowledge of supermarket operations and product categories is a plus.
