Site Inspector

Description

A reputable company is hiring a Site Inspector to monitor construction activities, inspect ongoing work, and ensure that work is completed according to approved drawings, specifications, quality requirements, and safety standards. The position is suitable for candidates with relevant construction or civil engineering experience.

Responsibilities:

Inspect construction work and monitor daily site activities.
Check completed and ongoing work against approved drawings and specifications.
Monitor the quality of materials and workmanship used on site.
Identify defects, discrepancies, and non-compliance issues.
Report site observations and construction progress to the relevant team.
Coordinate with site engineers, supervisors, contractors, and workers.
Verify measurements and completed works where required.
Monitor site safety practices and report unsafe conditions.
Maintain inspection records, checklists, and site reports.
Follow up on corrective actions and ensure issues are properly resolved.
Assist with project inspections and handover activities.
Ensure work is carried out according to project requirements and applicable standards.

Requirements:

Diploma or Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering, Construction, or a related field is preferred.
Previous construction/site inspection experience is an advantage.
Good understanding of construction methods and site procedures.
Ability to read and understand engineering drawings.
Strong attention to detail and observation skills.
Good communication and reporting abilities.
Basic computer and documentation skills.
Ability to work on construction sites and under deadlines.
Freshers with relevant qualifications may be considered for suitable junior roles.
