Site Engineer

Description

A well-established organization is looking for a qualified and detail-oriented Site Engineer to oversee day-to-day site activities and ensure construction work is completed according to approved drawings, specifications, quality standards, and project schedules.

Key Responsibilities:

Supervise and monitor daily construction activities at the project site.
Ensure work is carried out according to approved drawings, specifications, and method statements.
Coordinate with contractors, subcontractors, consultants, suppliers, and site teams.
Review engineering drawings and communicate technical requirements to the execution team.
Monitor manpower, materials, equipment, and work progress.
Conduct regular site inspections and ensure quality standards are maintained.
Identify technical issues and coordinate appropriate solutions.
Prepare daily site reports, progress updates, inspection requests, and other required documentation.
Coordinate with QA/QC and HSE teams to ensure quality and safety requirements are followed.
Monitor project schedules and report delays or site constraints to management.
Ensure proper use and availability of construction materials and equipment.
Attend site meetings and provide updates regarding project progress.
Support testing, inspection, snagging, and project handover activities when required.

Requirements:

Bachelor’s Degree or Diploma in Civil Engineering or a related engineering field.
Previous experience in construction/site engineering is preferred.
Good knowledge of construction methods, materials, and site procedures.
Ability to read and interpret engineering and construction drawings.
Knowledge of AutoCAD and MS Office is an advantage.
Strong communication, coordination, and problem-solving skills.
Ability to manage multiple site activities and meet project deadlines.
Good understanding of workplace health and safety procedures.
UAE/GCC construction experience will be an advantage.
