Service Passenger Agent

Description

An established organization is seeking qualified and customer-focused candidates for the position of Passenger Service Agent. The role involves assisting passengers throughout airport processes, including check-in, boarding, arrivals, baggage services, and special assistance, while maintaining high standards of customer service, safety, and operational efficiency.

Key Responsibilities:

Welcome and assist passengers at designated airport service areas.
Perform passenger check-in and verify travel documents and boarding information.
Issue boarding passes and provide accurate flight-related information.
Assist passengers with boarding procedures and gate operations.
Handle passenger inquiries regarding flights, gates, delays, and other airport services.
Assist passengers with baggage check-in, tagging, and related procedures.
Support passengers requiring special assistance, including passengers with reduced mobility.
Monitor passenger queues and help maintain smooth passenger flow.
Coordinate with ground handling teams and other airport departments.
Assist with arrival and departure procedures as assigned.
Report baggage, passenger, or operational irregularities to the appropriate supervisor.
Follow airport security, safety, airline, and ground-handling procedures at all times.
Maintain professional grooming, communication, and customer-service standards.
Complete required operational documents, reports, and records.
Work effectively during busy periods, flight disruptions, and changing operational requirements.

Requirements:

Diploma or Bachelor’s degree is preferred.
Previous experience in airport, airline, ground handling, hospitality, or customer service is an advantage.
Good spoken and written English communication skills.
Excellent customer service and interpersonal skills.
Professional appearance and positive attitude.
Good problem-solving and communication abilities.
Basic computer skills, including Microsoft Office.
Ability to work under pressure and follow procedures accurately.
Physically fit and able to work in an airport environment.
Willingness to work rotating shifts, weekends, and public holidays.
Airport or ground-handling training is an advantage.
