Job Description:
We are seeking a detail-oriented and experienced Quality Control Specialist to join our team. As a Quality Control Specialist, you will play a vital role in ensuring the quality and safety of our packaged food products. If you have a strong background in quality control, food safety standards, and a commitment to maintaining the highest product quality, we encourage you to apply and become a crucial part of our quality assurance team.

Responsibilities:
Perform inspections and quality checks on packaged food products at various stages of production.
Ensure that all food packaging meets quality and safety standards and complies with regulatory requirements.
Conduct sensory evaluations and taste tests to assess product quality and flavor.
Inspect packaging materials for defects and adherence to specifications.
Monitor and document temperature and storage conditions for perishable products.
Investigate and document any deviations from quality standards and report findings to management.
Collaborate with production teams to resolve quality-related issues and implement corrective actions.
Maintain accurate quality control records and documentation.
Perform regular audits of food safety procedures and practices.
Assist in training production staff on quality control and food safety protocols.

Qualifications:
Bachelor’s degree in Food Science, Quality Control, or a related field is preferred.
Previous experience in quality control within the food packaging industry is a strong plus.
Knowledge of food safety standards and regulations, including HACCP and FDA guidelines.
Strong attention to detail and a commitment to maintaining product quality.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and under pressure.
Proficiency in using quality control software and Microsoft Office applications.
Positive attitude and a commitment to upholding food safety standards.
