Purchasing Assistant

Description

An aggressively growing food production and distribution company is looking for a well-organized, energetic purchasing assistant to help the purchaser carry out day-to-day tasks and who can make cost-effective purchases and maintain a fully stocked inventory.

* Researching market trends & potential vendors

* Maintaining relationships with both vendors and clients and identifying suppliers

* Inspecting and monitoring the inventory

*Tracking deliveries and updating order records

* Updating relevant spreadsheets and documents.

* Issuing LPO’s

* Perform Price Negotiations

· Experience as a Purchasing Assistant in a Food Company (REQUIRED)

* Female Applicants

· Excellent administrative and communication skills.

· Hands-on experience with purchasing software & advance knowledge of MS Excel

· An eye for spotting market trends.
