Description
Responsibilities:
Develop and implement procurement strategies and policies to meet the organization’s needs and objectives.
Source suppliers and obtain competitive bids for goods and services, evaluating proposals and selecting vendors based on quality, cost, and delivery requirements.
Negotiate contracts and terms with suppliers to secure favorable pricing, payment terms, and service level agreements.
Maintain accurate records of procurement activities, including purchase orders, contracts, and vendor information.
Identify opportunities for cost savings and process improvements within the procurement function.
Stay up-to-date on market trends, supplier capabilities, and industry best practices in procurement.
Requirements:
Proven experience as a procurement officer or in a similar procurement role.
Strong negotiation and contract management skills.
Excellent analytical and problem-solving abilities.
Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
Ability to work well under pressure and meet tight deadlines
