Pharmacy Assistant

Description

A healthcare facility is hiring a Pharmacy Assistant to support the pharmacist with daily pharmacy operations, inventory management, customer service, and administrative tasks. The ideal candidate should be organized, attentive to detail, and able to work efficiently in a healthcare environment.

Responsibilities
Assist the pharmacist with day-to-day pharmacy operations.
Receive, organize, and store medicines and healthcare products.
Check stock quantities, expiry dates, and product condition.
Maintain accurate inventory and stock records.
Assist with preparing prescriptions and customer orders under the supervision of the licensed pharmacist.
Handle customer inquiries and refer medication-related questions to the pharmacist.
Assist with billing and basic administrative duties when required.
Monitor stock levels and report items that need replenishment.
Maintain a clean, organized, and hygienic pharmacy area.
Follow pharmacy procedures, safety guidelines, and applicable regulations.
Coordinate with suppliers regarding deliveries and stock when required.
Support the pharmacist in providing efficient customer service.
Requirements
Diploma or relevant qualification in Pharmacy/Healthcare is preferred.
Previous pharmacy or healthcare experience is an advantage.
Basic knowledge of medicines and pharmacy products.
Good communication and customer service skills.
Strong attention to detail and organizational abilities.
Basic computer skills.
Ability to work effectively as part of a team.
UAE healthcare/pharmacy experience is an advantage.
Relevant UAE licensing or eligibility is preferred where applicable.
