MEP Officer

Description

A UAE-based construction company is hiring an experienced MEP Officer to coordinate and monitor mechanical, electrical, and plumbing activities, ensuring MEP works are completed according to approved drawings, project specifications, quality standards, schedules, and safety requirements.

Responsibilities
Coordinate daily MEP activities across project sites.
Supervise mechanical, electrical, plumbing, HVAC, and related works.
Review drawings, specifications, shop drawings, and technical documents.
Coordinate with engineers, contractors, subcontractors, and site teams.
Monitor MEP installation progress and report delays or technical issues.
Conduct regular site inspections to ensure quality and compliance.
Ensure MEP installations follow approved specifications and standards.
Coordinate testing, commissioning, inspections, and handover activities.
Monitor materials, equipment, manpower, and site requirements.
Prepare daily and weekly progress reports.
Identify technical problems and coordinate appropriate solutions.
Ensure compliance with HSE requirements and safe working procedures.
Follow up on pending work, snags, and corrective actions.
Coordinate maintenance or repair activities when required.
Maintain accurate MEP documentation and records.
Requirements
Diploma or Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical, Electrical, MEP Engineering, or a related field.
Previous experience in MEP projects, construction, or facilities management.
Good knowledge of mechanical, electrical, plumbing, and HVAC systems.
Ability to read and interpret MEP drawings and technical documents.
Strong coordination and communication skills.
Good problem-solving and organizational abilities.
Knowledge of UAE standards and regulations is an advantage.
UAE/GCC experience is preferred.
Ability to work under pressure and meet project deadlines.
