Logistics Coordinator

Description

A well established company is seeking qualified candidates for the position of Logistics Coordinator. The role involves coordinating transportation, shipments, deliveries, inventory movement, and logistics documentation to support smooth and timely operations.

Key Responsibilities:

Coordinate daily logistics, transportation, and delivery activities.
Plan and monitor shipments from suppliers to customers or designated locations.
Coordinate with suppliers, transport companies, drivers, warehouse teams, and internal departments.
Track shipments and provide updates on delivery status.
Prepare and maintain shipping, delivery, invoices, packing lists, and related logistics documents.
Monitor inventory movement and maintain accurate logistics records.
Coordinate loading, unloading, dispatch, and receiving activities.
Follow up on delayed, missing, or damaged shipments and assist in resolving issues.
Ensure deliveries are completed according to scheduled timelines.
Maintain records of transportation activities, delivery confirmations, and proof of delivery.
Assist with route planning and transportation arrangements where required.
Monitor logistics costs and support efficient use of transportation resources.
Prepare daily, weekly, or monthly logistics reports.
Ensure logistics activities follow company procedures and applicable safety requirements.
Maintain effective communication with clients, suppliers, transport providers, and internal teams.

Requirements:

Diploma or Bachelor’s degree in Logistics, Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, or a related field is preferred.
Previous experience in logistics, transportation, distribution, or supply chain operations is an advantage.
Good knowledge of shipment and delivery procedures.
Familiarity with logistics documentation and inventory records.
Proficiency in Microsoft Office, particularly Excel.
Strong communication and coordination skills.
Good organizational and problem-solving abilities.
Ability to manage multiple tasks and meet delivery deadlines.
Attention to detail and accurate record-keeping.
Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
UAE logistics experience is an advantage.
Freshers with relevant qualifications may be considered for suitable entry-level opportunities.
