IT Teacher

Description

A well-established educational institution in the UAE is looking for a qualified, passionate, and dedicated IT Teacher to join its academic team. The ideal candidate should have strong knowledge of computer science and information technology, excellent communication skills, and the ability to create an engaging and practical learning environment for students.
Plan and deliver engaging IT and Computer Science lessons according to the school curriculum.
Teach students basic and advanced computer skills according to their grade level.
Prepare lesson plans, presentations, assignments, practical activities, and learning materials.
Teach topics such as computer fundamentals, MS Office, internet and digital literacy, programming, and basic networking as applicable.
Conduct practical computer lab sessions and guide students during hands-on activities.
Assess students through tests, assignments, projects, and practical examinations.
Monitor student progress and provide constructive feedback.
Maintain accurate records of attendance, grades, assessments, and student performance.
Encourage students to develop problem-solving, logical thinking, and digital skills.
Ensure proper and safe use of computers, software, internet, and other IT equipment.
Maintain a positive, inclusive, and disciplined classroom environment.
Keep teaching methods and IT knowledge updated with current technology trends.
Communicate effectively with parents, colleagues, and school management when required.
Participate in school meetings, events, training sessions, and extracurricular activities.
Follow school policies, curriculum guidelines, safeguarding procedures, and professional standards.
Requirements
Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Education, or a related field.
Previous teaching experience as an IT, Computer Science, or ICT Teacher is preferred.
Strong knowledge of computer applications and IT concepts.
Good classroom management and student engagement skills.
Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
Ability to explain technical concepts in a simple and practical manner.
Good knowledge of MS Office and educational technology.
Programming or coding knowledge will be an advantage.
UAE teaching experience is preferred.
Relevant teaching qualification/certification will be an advantage.
