Description
As a Cleaning Staff/Housekeeping member at our esteemed hotel in Jumeirah Zone 2, Dubai, you will play a vital role in maintaining a clean, orderly, and welcoming environment for our guests. Your commitment to cleanliness and attention to detail will contribute to the exceptional experience we provide to all visitors. Your primary responsibilities will include:
Room Cleaning: Perform thorough cleaning and sanitization of guest rooms, ensuring high standards of cleanliness and presentation.
Public Areas: Clean and maintain the hotel’s public spaces, including lobbies, corridors, elevators, and lounges, to create a pleasant ambiance for guests.
Restroom Sanitization: Ensure that all restrooms are regularly cleaned, sanitized, and well-stocked with essential supplies.
Dusting and Vacuuming: Dust and vacuum all surfaces, carpets, and upholstery to maintain a tidy and hygienic environment.
Linen Management: Handle the collection and replacement of bed linens, towels, and other guest amenities.
Waste Disposal: Collect and dispose of waste and trash in designated containers, adhering to established waste management procedures.
Restocking Supplies: Monitor and replenish housekeeping supplies, such as toiletries and cleaning materials, to ensure availability as needed.
Reporting Maintenance Issues: Report any maintenance or repair issues observed during housekeeping duties to the designated supervisor.
Guest Interaction: Maintain a friendly and courteous demeanor when interacting with guests, assisting with their inquiries and requests when necessary.
Requirements:
Previous experience in hotel housekeeping or cleaning services is an advantage.
Familiarity with cleaning techniques, equipment, and chemical usage is beneficial.
Attention to detail and a commitment to maintaining high cleanliness standards.
Ability to work independently and efficiently with minimal supervision.
Physical stamina to handle the demands of housekeeping tasks and prolonged standing.
Reliability and punctuality in adhering to assigned shifts and schedules.
Understanding of safety protocols related to housekeeping duties.
