Job Description:

We are seeking a motivated and reliable Kitchen Helper to join our culinary team and assist in various kitchen tasks. As a Kitchen Helper, you will play an essential role in maintaining a clean and organized kitchen environment, assisting chefs and cooks, and ensuring the smooth operation of meal preparation. Your teamwork, attention to detail, and willingness to learn will contribute to the success of our restaurant.

Responsibilities:
Assist in food preparation, including chopping, peeling, and portioning ingredients.
Help with the assembly and plating of dishes according to the chef’s instructions.
Clean and sanitize kitchen equipment, utensils, and work areas.
Wash dishes, pots, pans, and other kitchen items as needed.
Organize and stock kitchen supplies and ingredients.
Assist in receiving and storing food deliveries.
Dispose of kitchen waste and follow proper recycling procedures.
Follow food safety and sanitation guidelines at all times.
Collaborate with the culinary team to maintain a smooth kitchen operation.
Provide support to chefs and cooks as required.

Qualifications:
Previous experience as a Kitchen Helper or in a similar role is preferred.
Ability to work in a fast-paced kitchen environment.
Willingness to learn and take direction from the culinary team.
Strong attention to cleanliness and sanitation.
Physical stamina and ability to stand for extended periods.
Team player with good communication skills.
Basic understanding of kitchen equipment and utensils.
High school diploma or equivalent.
