Finance Officer

Description

We are looking for an Finance Officer, who is responsible for managing the organization’s financial transactions, maintaining accurate accounting records, preparing financial reports, monitoring budgets, ensuring compliance with financial regulations, and supporting the organization’s financial planning and decision-making processes.

Key Responsibilities

Financial Management
Maintain accurate financial records and accounting ledgers.
Process accounts payable and accounts receivable transactions.
Prepare bank reconciliations and monitor cash flow.
Process payroll and employee reimbursements, where applicable.
Prepare journal entries and maintain the general ledger.
Assist with month-end and year-end closing activities.
Budgeting & Reporting
Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reports.
Analyze financial data and identify cost-saving opportunities.
Prepare variance analysis reports.
Compliance & Audit
Ensure compliance with company financial policies and applicable accounting standards.
Assist with internal and external audits.
Ensure compliance with tax regulations, including VAT where applicable.
Support implementation of internal financial controls.
Banking & Payments
Process supplier invoices and payments.
Monitor outstanding receivables and follow up on collections.
Administrative Support
Maintain financial filing systems and documentation.
Coordinate with banks, auditors, vendors, and government authorities.
Support procurement and contract payment verification.
Perform other finance-related duties assigned by management.
