Description

Job Title: Document Controller

Location: Dubai, UAE

Employment Type: Full-time

About Us:
We are currently seeking a detail-oriented and organized Document Controller to join our team. If you have a strong attention to detail and a passion for maintaining accurate and efficient document control processes, we encourage you to apply.

Responsibilities:
Establish and maintain document control procedures and systems to ensure the accuracy, integrity, and security of company documents.
Manage the organization, storage, retrieval, and archiving of electronic and hard copy documents.
Review incoming documents for completeness, accuracy, and compliance with established standards and procedures.
Assign document numbers, codes, and metadata for indexing and tracking purposes.
Monitor document changes, revisions, and approvals, and ensure proper version control.
Coordinate document distribution and dissemination to appropriate stakeholders.
Track document status and progress through review and approval workflows.
Assist project teams and departments with document-related inquiries and requests.
Conduct periodic audits and inspections to verify compliance with document control processes and procedures.
Provide training and support to staff members on document control policies, systems, and best practices.

Requirements:
Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Information Management, or related field preferred.
Proven work experience as a Document Controller or in a similar role.
Strong understanding of document control principles, practices, and standards.
Proficiency in document management software and Microsoft Office Suite.
Excellent organizational and time management skills.
Attention to detail and accuracy in data entry and record keeping.
Ability to work well independently and in a team environment.
Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
Knowledge of regulatory requirements and industry standards related to document control (preferred but not required).
