Position: Database Administrator (DBA)
Location: Dubai, UAE

Key Responsibilities:

Install, configure, and maintain database management systems (DBMS), including backups, recoveries, and disaster recovery plans.
Monitor and optimize database performance, ensuring maximum uptime and stability.
Implement and enforce database security measures to protect sensitive information.
Perform regular database tuning, patching, and upgrades to ensure optimal performance.
Develop and maintain database documentation, including data standards, procedures, and definitions.
Collaborate with developers to design and optimize database architecture and queries.
Troubleshoot and resolve database-related issues promptly.
Ensure compliance with data privacy regulations and company policies.
Requirements:

Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
Proven experience as a Database Administrator or similar role.
Strong knowledge of database management systems (e.g., SQL Server, Oracle, MySQL, PostgreSQL).
Experience with database performance tuning, optimization, and backups.
Familiarity with data security standards and data privacy regulations.
Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
Strong communication skills in English; knowledge of Arabic is a plus.
Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
