Job Description:
We are seeking a detail-oriented and customer-focused Cashier to join our team. The ideal candidate should be proficient in handling cash transactions accurately and providing excellent customer service to ensure a positive shopping experience for all our patrons.

Responsibilities:
Process customer transactions accurately and efficiently using a cash register.
Greet customers warmly and answer their inquiries about products and services.
Maintain a clean and organized checkout area, ensuring items are appropriately scanned and bagged.
Handle returns and exchanges in accordance with company policies.
Collaborate with the sales team to ensure seamless customer service.
Uphold the hypermarket’s policies and procedures for cash handling and security.
Assist in maintaining accurate inventory records by reporting discrepancies to the supervisor.
Offer customers membership and loyalty program benefits during checkout.

Requirements:
Previous experience as a cashier or in a similar role is preferred.
Strong numerical and multitasking skills.
Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities.
Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and handle a high volume of transactions.
Familiarity with operating a cash register and handling various forms of payment.
Commitment to providing exceptional customer service.
Flexibility to work evenings, weekends, and holidays as needed.
