Job Description:
We are currently seeking energetic and dedicated individuals to join our school canteen team as Canteen Staff. The Canteen Staff will play a crucial role in providing quality food service to students and staff, ensuring a positive and efficient canteen experience.

Key Responsibilities:

Assist in food preparation and cooking under the direction of the head chef.
Serve meals to students and staff with a friendly and customer-oriented approach.
Handle cash transactions and provide accurate change.
Maintain cleanliness and hygiene in the canteen area.
Monitor and replenish food and beverage items as needed.
Handle customer inquiries and requests in a courteous manner.
Assist in the cleaning and maintenance of kitchen equipment.
Collaborate with other canteen staff for efficient operations.
Uphold school policies and regulations related to food service.
Ensure a positive and welcoming atmosphere in the canteen.
Requirements:

High school diploma or equivalent.
Previous experience in food service or a cafeteria setting is a plus.
Basic food safety and hygiene knowledge.
Good communication and teamwork skills.
Ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
Customer service-oriented with a friendly demeanor.
Knowledge of cash handling and basic math.
Physical fitness for standing and moving in the kitchen.
