Boom Truck Driver

Description

A construction company is hiring an experienced Boom Truck Driver to safely operate boom trucks and transport, load, and unload construction materials at project sites. The ideal candidate should have good driving skills, knowledge of vehicle safety, and experience operating boom equipment.

Responsibilities
Operate boom trucks safely and efficiently at construction sites.
Transport and deliver construction materials, tools, and equipment.
Load, lift, position, and unload materials using the boom mechanism.
Conduct daily inspections of the truck and boom equipment.
Follow approved lifting procedures and site safety regulations.
Ensure loads are properly secured before transportation or lifting.
Coordinate with site supervisors, riggers, and other workers.
Monitor load capacity and ensure safe lifting limits are followed.
Maintain accurate vehicle and equipment inspection records.
Report mechanical problems, equipment damage, or safety concerns promptly.
Keep the truck and work area clean and properly maintained.
Follow traffic regulations and company transportation procedures.
Requirements
Previous experience as a Boom Truck Driver or similar heavy vehicle operator.
A valid UAE Heavy Vehicle Driving License is required.
Valid boom truck/crane operator certification is an advantage.
Good knowledge of construction site safety procedures.
Experience with lifting and handling construction materials.
Strong awareness of load limits and safe operating practices.
Physically fit and able to work in outdoor conditions.
Reliable, punctual, and safety-conscious.
UAE construction experience is preferred.
