Assistant Nurse

Description

A leading healthcare facility is looking for a caring, responsible, and attentive Assistant Nurse to support nurses and healthcare professionals in providing quality patient care. The ideal candidate should have good communication skills, a compassionate attitude, and the ability to follow clinical and safety procedures.

Responsibilities
Assist nurses with routine patient care and daily activities.
Monitor and record patients’ basic vital signs as directed.
Assist patients with mobility, personal hygiene, feeding, and comfort when required.
Prepare patient rooms, beds, and basic care equipment.
Support nurses during routine procedures within the permitted scope of practice.
Maintain cleanliness and hygiene in patient-care areas.
Assist with transferring and positioning patients safely.
Observe patients and promptly report changes or concerns to the supervising nurse.
Maintain accurate patient-care records as instructed.
Follow infection-control, health, and safety procedures.
Handle medical equipment and supplies responsibly.
Support nurses and other healthcare staff during busy periods.
Respect patient privacy and maintain confidentiality.
Provide compassionate and respectful support to patients and their families.
Perform other duties assigned by the supervising nurse or management.
Requirements
Relevant nursing/healthcare qualification or nursing assistant certification.
Previous healthcare or patient-care experience is preferred.
Valid UAE healthcare license/eligibility where required for the role.
Basic knowledge of patient-care and infection-control procedures.
Good communication and interpersonal skills.
Caring, patient, and responsible attitude.
Ability to work as part of a healthcare team.
Physically fit and able to assist with patient mobility when required.
Ability to work shifts, weekends, and holidays when required.
UAE healthcare experience is an advantage.
