As an Assistant Accountant in the vibrant city of Dubai, you will be a crucial part of our finance team, ensuring accurate financial records and contributing to the financial health of our organization. Your attention to detail and financial acumen will be instrumental in this role. Key responsibilities include:

Financial Records: Assist in maintaining accurate financial records, including accounts payable, accounts receivable, and general ledger entries.
Reporting: Prepare financial statements, such as income statements and balance sheets, in compliance with local accounting standards and regulations.
Budget Assistance: Support in the development and monitoring of budgets and assist in forecasting financial outcomes.
Tax Compliance: Ensure compliance with tax laws and regulations, including the filing of tax returns and calculations of tax liabilities.
Audit Support: Collaborate with internal and external auditors, providing necessary documentation and explanations during audit processes.
Financial Analysis: Conduct financial analysis, identify trends, and provide insights to improve financial performance and efficiency.
Process Improvement: Identify opportunities for process improvements and implement efficient accounting practices and procedures.

Requirements:

Bachelor’s degree in accounting or finance.
Previous experience in accounting or finance roles.
Proficiency in accounting software and advanced spreadsheet skills.
Knowledge of local accounting standards and tax regulations.
