Description
Position: Accounts Assistant
Location: Dubai, UAE
Industry: Courier/Freight
Responsibilities:
Financial Records: Maintain accurate financial records, including ledgers, accounts payable, and accounts receivable.
Invoicing: Prepare and send invoices to clients and ensure timely payments.
Billing: Process billing statements and verify the accuracy of charges.
Bank Transactions: Reconcile bank statements and monitor company bank accounts.
Expense Management: Assist in tracking and managing company expenses.
Financial Reporting: Prepare financial reports, including profit and loss statements and balance sheets.
Documentation: Organize and maintain financial documents and records.
Vendor Payments: Manage payments to vendors and suppliers.
Payroll Assistance: Support the payroll process and assist in salary disbursements.
Compliance: Ensure compliance with financial regulations and company policies.
Reporting: Provide financial reports and updates to the finance manager or senior accountant.
Ad-Hoc Tasks: Assist with ad-hoc financial tasks and projects as needed.
Requirements:
Accounting Skills: Knowledge of basic accounting principles and practices.
Computer Skills: Proficiency in accounting software and MS Office (Excel, Word).
Detail-Oriented: Strong attention to detail and accuracy in financial record-keeping.
Analytical Skills: Ability to analyze financial data and reports.
Organizational Skills: Excellent organizational and multitasking abilities.
Communication: Effective verbal and written communication skills.
Team Player: Willingness to collaborate with colleagues in the finance department.
Prior Experience: Previous experience in an accounts assistant or accounting support role is preferred.
