As an Accounting and Finance Staff member, you will play a vital role in our finance team, ensuring accurate financial record-keeping, managing transactions, and contributing to the financial success of our hotel. Your meticulous attention to detail and strong financial acumen will be instrumental in maintaining the hotel’s financial stability and supporting our commitment to excellence.

Responsibilities:

Financial Transactions: Accurately process and record daily financial transactions, including payments, receipts, and invoices, using the hotel’s accounting software.
Accounts Payable and Receivable: Monitor and manage accounts payable and receivable, ensuring timely payments and collections.
Bank Reconciliation: Perform regular bank reconciliations to ensure accuracy and completeness of financial records.
Financial Reporting: Assist in preparing financial statements, reports, and analyses for management review, providing insights into the hotel’s financial performance.
Budget Monitoring: Support the finance team in monitoring budgetary allocations, expenses, and revenue to ensure adherence to financial plans.
Expense Management: Verify and process expense claims, ensuring compliance with hotel policies and regulations.
Tax Compliance: Assist in complying with tax regulations, preparing necessary documentation, and filing tax returns.
Financial Audits: Collaborate with external auditors during periodic financial audits and help address any audit-related queries.
Data Analysis: Analyze financial data to identify trends, anomalies, and areas for potential cost optimization.
Finance Support: Provide financial support and information to other hotel departments as needed.

Qualifications and Requirements:

Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, or a related field.
Proven experience in accounting or finance roles, preferably in the hospitality industry.
Strong knowledge of financial principles, practices, and regulations.
Proficiency in accounting software and Microsoft Office suite.
Excellent numerical and analytical skills with keen attention to detail.
Strong communication and interpersonal abilities.
