Document Controller

Description

Responsibilities:

Create, manage, and maintain electronic and physical document filing systems.
Organize and categorize documents according to established protocols and standards.
Ensure that all documents are accurately labeled, indexed, and stored for easy retrieval.
Control document versions and revisions, ensuring that only the latest versions are available for reference.
Monitor document access and distribution, maintaining confidentiality and security of sensitive information.
Assist in the development and implementation of document management policies and procedures.
Train staff on document control procedures and systems as needed.
Perform regular audits and checks to ensure document accuracy, completeness, and compliance.
Coordinate with other departments to gather, review, and update documents as required.
Provide support during internal and external audits and inspections.

Requirements:

Bachelor’s degree in business administration, information management, or a related field.
Proven experience as a document controller or in a similar role.
Proficiency in document management software and Microsoft Office Suite.
Strong organizational and multitasking skills.
Attention to detail and accuracy in document management.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
Ability to work well independently and as part of a team.
